| The station, expected to be called Thames Wharf, has long been planned for this location. To support it, a very passive provision was included in DLR tracks when they were constructed — although little more than ensuring there’s enough long straight track to allow for the station platforms to be added later.Based on the 2018 feasibility study, which may well have changed since then, the new DLR station could include stairs from street to platform level and 17-person lifts at the eastern end. Provision could also be included to add a second set of lifts or escalators at the western end at a later date if needed. -- ???????? | |||
